Stephanie Ho

Cinematographer ยท London

Stephanie Ho Weddings is a documentary wedding filmmaking studio based in London, filming unposed, cinematic wedding films for couples across the UK and Europe. Founded by cinematographer Stephanie Ho โ€” whose background spans Netflix documentaries, Amazon Prime feature films and commercials โ€” the studio blends real documentary craft with the texture of digital, Super 8mm and camcorder footage. These films are made for couples who want to relive their day honestly: no staging, no trending montages, just the way it actually felt.

I. The Beginning

My name is Stephanie Ho, and I'm a cinematographer based in London. I studied at London Film Academy and began my career in the film industry, working across feature films for Amazon Prime, commercials, Netflix documentaries and other productions. Cinematography has always been a huge passion of mine. I love the process of finding beautiful images, observing real moments and telling stories through film.

II. The First Wedding

Then I had the opportunity to film my first wedding and something just clicked. I immediately fell in love with the intimacy, unpredictability and honesty of documenting a wedding day. It felt different from the work I had done before. While I've always loved working in film, I realised I wanted to create something that felt deeply personal and authentic, something that wasn't just a beautiful film, but something that genuinely felt like you.

III. The Approach

That's what led me to wedding filmmaking. With my background in cinematography and documentary filmmaking, I want to bring a different perspective to wedding films. I want to observe the little things, the nervous glances, the ridiculous dance moves, the quiet moments between family and friends, the things you might not even notice on the day.

IV. The Promise

My approach is documentary at heart, but cinematic in its craft. Ultimately, I want to make films that feel like memories. Honest, imperfect, emotional and completely yours. A film that years from now, can still take you back to exactly how it felt to be there that day.
